For these 40 days of Lent, I've decided to scale back my computer time.
Will this have any significant effect on any sites I regularly visit?
The answer...well...is yes. For example, I've given up visiting Twitter for all these 40 days. I'm also going to plan semi-hiatuses on other sites I frequent. It may also include Deviantart. So keep an eye out on any future journals that I post that may bring up such a hiatus.
The reason being is since that I am growing another year older, I really have to start taking care of my health a lot more and to be more active in terms of exercise. Being on the computer for 8 hrs. a day (aside from my work) is not being healthy. And I've been sleeping an average of 5 1/2 hours when I should be getting at least 7 hrs.

Kim Possible Fall/Winter Art Festival
Hey y'all and good afternoon. Hope y'all have a good Thanksgiving (or for those outside the US, hope y'all are having a good Thursday) and enjoyed the turkey (and the football games goin’ on today). With that aside, I am now going to host a fall/winter art festival for the Kimmunity and for all the very talented fan-artists here. Here are the rules that will guide the festival The fanart(s) must be specfic to that holiday. The holidays that are specific for this festival are as follows: *Thanksgiving *Hannukah *Christmas *Kwanzaa *Winter Solstice *New Years Eve *New Years Day Any pairing is welcome, including any crossover pairings to pair with any of the KP characters. The fanart(s) must be rated PG-13 and below. No mature artworks will be accepted for this contest and no fetishized arts will be allowed. No AI art is allowed for this festival. Absent For Most of Next Week
Hey y'all. I wanna give y'all a heads-up that I will not be available for next weekend as I will be out of town. I am going to be absent from the 12th thru the 16th. I will resume normal activity on the 17th.

These sound like good ideas. I'm on the computer about 5 hours a day at work and 6-8 hours at home. Could do without Twitter for a while too.
